telstar one of the first consoles

G@m!ng just after pong started off with the the "coleco telstar" which started in 1976 one of the first systems to use the General Instruments AY-3-8500 chip, played only three games (tennis, hockey, handball) with three difficulty levels which at that time probably wouldnt of even been that hard compared to todays difficulty levels. It was a huge success with more than a million sold. People all the time where trying to improve the chip, games this si shown when only 2 years later a new chip was designed and began to start being in the shops, it was called the "Telstar colotron" which played 4 games and surpisingly in colour. Colour being an essential today in a game is all well and good, but most people like sound and at 1978 was appalling in every console the was a little biezo beeper that made a discrete sound that hert your ears.
